In recent years, re-industrialization projects are ongoing in varying local industries with the support of the Hong Kong SAR Government. To reindustrialize the fashion industry in Hong Kong, retailers, manufacturers, designers and other key players in the fashion supply chain are in need of technologies to upgrade their production or operation processes. Hongkong Knitwear Exporters & Manufacturers Association (HKKEMA), Knitwear Innovation and Design Society (KIDS) and Clothing Industry Training Authority (CITA) therefore co-organise this seminar to introduce the re-industrialization benefits for Hong Kong SMEs and demonstrate how AI, 3D technologies and knitwear innovations could support fashion industry to re-industrialize.
