The 12th Guangzhou/Hong Kong/Macao/Chengdu Youth Skills Competition

The Guangzhou / Hong Kong / Macao / Chengdu Youth Skills Competition (GHMCYSC) aims to provide a platform for young talents to demonstrate their skills and exchange technical knowhow so as to promote the status of the young tradesmen in the society.
This year, the 12th Guangzhou/Hong Kong/Macao/Chengdu Youth Skills Competition is held from the 25th to 26th November in Guangzhou. Team Hong Kong competed with other young competitors from Guangzhou, Macao and Chengdu in five skill trades including Fashion Technology, Cyber Security, Mobile Applications Development, Mobile Robotics and Visual Merchandising. Sixteen Hong Kong competitors demonstrated their skills excellence during competitions. Their skills will bring continuous impetus to the Hong Kong industries.
In the Fashion Technology competition, three competitors from Hong Kong came away with a bronze prize and also won two merit prizes in Fashion Technology competition. The outstanding record of Fashion Technology competition is a testimony to the professional skill of young fashion tradesmen in Hong Kong as those in other neighbouring regions and together they help drive sustainable development of the fashion industry and economy in the region.
