Students can use sewing machines (including lockstitch machine), tools, and skills to complete the sewing process that meets the quality requirements by learning how to sew skirts, how to handle skirt heads, slash pockets, and zipper techniques, and so on.
Content
- Introduction to skirt pieces
- Sewing skirt waistband, zipper, pleats and slash pockets
- Sewing two basic skirt styles
Requirement
- Completed Level D – Sewing Course (Basic level) or
- Completed Learn to Sew in 3 Days
Sewing Skill Recognition Scheme
After completing the course, students elect to take the practical examination. Those who pass will receive a certificate recognizing their sewing skills (level C).
Practical exam fee: HK$650
