Objective

The course aims to boost students creativity with AI and effective tools in Style3D which allows designer to realize their design idea creatively in a digital form.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Use AIGC tool to generate design ideas
  • Create and edit patterns in 2D and 3D
  • Customize fabric colors and adding prints
  • Be able to create designs in Style3D
  • Be able to create simple environments in Style3D
  • Be able to render captivating pictures of the design

Course Features

This course is aimed for interactive learning. Through lectures, presentations and practice, students will learn the latest 3D CAD software and its applications. In addition, the course will arrange self-study sessions besides of normal class hours, so that students can practice and work at their own pace.

It is composed of two parts:

(1) lecture and project (7 sessions / 21 hours)  and

(2) self-practice (3 sessions / 9  hours).

Remarks:
  • Limited to 14 students on a first-come-first-served basis. However, the Authority reserves the right to reject applications, and in which case, the tuition fee will be refunded in full.
  • Those who have basic pattern knowledge are preferable.
